Advocate Trinity Hospital (Chicago). In 2010, Advocate Trinity Hospital formed a Green Council to adopt and reach environmentally sustainable benchmarks. The hospital’s commitment to sustainability was honored by Practice Greenhealth, which named Advocate Trinity Hospital one of its 2017 Greening the OR Recognition Award recipients. Practice Greenhealth also awarded the hospital’s parent company, Downers Grove, Ill.-based Advocate Health Care, its 2017 Circles of Excellence Award for sustainable chemical policies and participation in environmentally preferable purchasing programs, and designated it a 2017 System for Change Award honoree.
