Advocate Lutheran General Hospital (Park Ridge, Ill.). In 2010, Advocate Lutheran General Hospital became the first hospital in the Midwest to achieve LEED Gold certification. It’s commitment to green building practices was also recognized this year, when Practice Greenhealth placed Advocate Lutheran in Green Building Circle. Additionally, Practice Greenhealth awarded the hospital with its Greenhealth Emerald Award this year.
