The course, available online and compatible with several platforms, goes over different types of PPE and when and how they should be used.

“Respirators, hard hats, eye protection and ear plugs are some very common PPE that are not always used consistently or correctly,” said Mark Ward, general manager of UL Workplace Health & Safety. “Workers don’t always know how to use PPE or why they should.”

The course is available here.
