The man was found by public safety staff June 12 wearing an unofficial lab coat on the Jackson Memorial Medical Center campus. The man received a trespassing warning and a cease and desist letter after the hospital notified police, and the Florida Department of Health is investigating the matter further.

The man was wearing a physician lab coat he ordered online with his name emblazoned on the front and the Jackson Memorial logo. He told NBC 6 South Florida he hopes to someday become a doctor. The Jackson Health system has banned him from visiting its facilities unless he needs treatment.
