Here are 25 rehab hospitals opening in 2025:

  1. Birmingham, Ala.-based Encompass Health and Amarillo, Texas-based BSA Health System opened the Rehabilitation Hospital of Amarillo.

  2. Houston-based TIRR Memorial Hermann opened a new outpatient clinic in Cypress, Texas.

  3. Ann Arbor-based UMHealth opened a cardiac rehabilitation center at University of Michigan Health-Sparrow Carson hospital in Carson City.

  4. Cleveland Clinic and Mechanicsburg, Pa.-based Select Medical opened their fourth rehabilitation hospital, the Cleveland Clinic Rehabilitation Hospital Fairhill in Cleveland.

  5. Memphis, Tenn.-based Baptist Memorial Health Care and Brentwood, Tenn.-based Lifepoint Rehabilitation opened the Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital-Madison, a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Madison, Miss.

  6. Birmingham, Ala.-based Encompass Health opened the Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Danbury in Connecticut and the Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Daytona Beach in Florida.

  7. White Plains, N.Y.-based Burke Rehabilitation opened an outpatient physical rehabilitation facility in Mount Vernon, N.Y.

  8. Chesterfield, Mo.-based Mercy opened an inpatient rehabilitation unit at the Mercy Hospital Ardmore in Oklahoma.

  9. Nashville, Tenn.-based Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital will open the first inpatient pediatric rehabilitation unit in Tennessee.

  10. Birmingham, Ala.-based Encompass Health and Fort Myers, Fla.-based Lee Health opened the Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Myers.

  11. Allentown, Pa.-based Lehigh Valley Health Network’s Neurologic Rehabilitation, also in Allentown, expanded in size to include new and upgraded technology and equipment.

  12. Mountain View, Calif.-based El Camino Health broke ground on an inpatient rehabilitation facility in Sunnyvale, Calif.

  13. Vancouver, Wash.-based PeaceHealth and Lifepoint Rehabilitation, a unit of Brentwood, Tenn.-based Lifepoint Health, will build a stand-alone, inpatient rehabilitation facility in Vancouver, Wash.

  14. Mechanicsburg, Pa.-based Select Medical and Pittsburgh-based UPMC opened the Helen M. Simpson Rehabilitation Hospital in Harrisburg, Pa.

  15. White Plains, N.Y.-based Burke Rehabilitation opened an outpatient therapy site in Scarsdale, N.Y.

  16. Birmingham, Ala.-based Encompass Health opened the Rehabilitation Hospital of Athens in Georgia.

  17. Allentown, Pa.-based Lehigh Valley Health Network’s Reilly Children’s Hospital opened a new pediatric rehabilitation facility.

  18. Encompass Health and Piedmont Athens (Ga.) Regional Medical Center opened the Rehabilitation Hospital of Athens.

  19. Durham, N.C.-based Duke Health partnered with Raleigh, N.C.-based WakeMed and Brentwood, Tenn.-based Lifepoint Health to open the new Peak Rehabilitation Hospital in Apex, N.C.

  20. Enola, Pa.-based PAM Health will build a new rehabilitation hospital in Cincinnati.

  21. Pensacola, Fla.-based Baptist Health Care and PAM Health partnered on a new rehabilitation hospital, also in Pensacola.

  22. Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center, a member of CommonSpirit Health, relaunched inpatient rehabilitation services at Baylor St. Luke’s-McNair Campus.

  23. Garland, Texas-based Exalt Health began construction on a $30 million rehabilitation hospital in Lakewood Ranch, Fla.

  24. St. Louis-based SSM Health opened a rehabilitation hospital in Oklahoma City in partnership with Mechanicsburg, Pa.-based Select Medical Corp.
