Lifepoint Rehabilitation will manage facility operations and provide acute rehabilitation care for patients who have experienced a loss of function from injury or illness, according to a Feb. 18 news release from Duke Health.
The Duke Health and WakeMed rehabilitation programs are both accredited through the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, the release said.
Lifepoint Health and Duke Health previously established Duke Lifepoint Healthcare in 2011, which has nine acute care hospitals across North Carolina.
