Ann Arbor-based UMHealth has opened a cardiac rehabilitation center at University of Michigan Health-Sparrow Carson hospital in Carson City.
The center aims to improve the health of heart disease patients by providing a “medically supervised program of exercise and education,” according to an Oct. 24 news release from UM Health.
The system also offers cardiac rehabilitation centers in Lansing, Mich., and the Clinton, Eaton and Ionia counties in Michigan. Other facilities can be found in Wyoming under UM Health-West.
