The Washington Department of Health is currently reviewing the complaint and the state pharmacy commission still has to decide if there is enough evidence to warrant a full blown investigation. There is no set timeline for when that decision has to be made, according to STAT.
The complaint against the Mumbai, India-based drugmaker comes shortly after Alabama’s Board of Pharmacy found the company shipped products with an expired permit for two years.
Throughout the last few years, the drugmaker has experienced other issues as well, including dozens of product recalls and quality control problems raised by the FDA.
