NCPA to launch ‘Show Me,’ a 5-episode educational series

The National Community Pharmacists Association will premiere a five-part educational series this October that’s “styled after popular TV makeover shows” and stars working pharmacists focused on immunization efforts.

During its annual convention, the NCPA’s Pfizer-sponsored Innovation Center announced the project Oct. 3 in Kansas City, Mo. The series, called “Show Me,” will follow five pharmacists as they work to launch, market or make immunization programs profitable.

The goal of the video series is to promote the role of pharmacists beyond filling prescriptions, according to the NCPA.

“They’re not eating bugs. There won’t be a wedding. Nobody’s getting kicked off the island. But there will be a buzz, at least among pharmacists,” the NCPA said.

Trailers for the first two episodes can be found on the organization’s website
