The company, which uses an online portal to track drug prices and find discounts, will offer affected employees a free 90-day membership to GoodRx Gold. The gold savings program offers more than 1,000 common medications for less than $10.
GoodRx Gold typically costs $5.99 for individuals or $9.99 for a family per month. Prices with the program are typically lower than with insurance, and the discounts are accepted at CVS, Kroger, Albertsons, Safeway, Vons and other pharmacies.
Affected employees, who are not receiving a paycheck as the shutdown continues, will have access to this program until April 15.
