Sacramento, Calif.-based Sutter Health has received the state's approval to offer its HMO health plan, Sutter Health Plus, in the Sonoma County community.
Sutter Health Plus, which serves the Sacramento and Central Valley areas, first launched in January 2014.
In Sonoma County, Sutter Health Plus' network includes the new $284 million Sutter Santa Rosa (Calif.) Regional Hospital; Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation, including California locations in Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park, Sebastopol and Healdsburg; Sutter Medical Group of the Redwoods; and Novato (Calif.) Community Hospital.
