Cambridge, Mass.-based Metamark Genetics partnered with San Antonio-based Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, extending its urology diagnostics to policyholders.
Metamark, a biotechnology company specializing in diagnostic tests for cancer, is also affiliated with other large BCBS plans and national PPO networks.
"Metamark is delighted to be recognized as an in-network provider with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas," Metamark CEO and President Jerry Williamson said. "We maintain our strong commitment to improve the care of patients with urologic cancer by expanding access to vital, decision-making information throughout the complete diagnostic and therapeutic care journey."
The agreement took effect June 1.
