Louisville, Ky.-based Humana promoted Catherine Field to president and Intermountain Region market leader for senior products.
Here are four things to know about Ms. Field.
1. Ms. Field was previously vice president and market leader for senior products for the Intermountain Region. The region includes Washington, Oregon, Utah and Idaho.
2. As president and market leader, Ms. Field will oversee Humana's Medicare Advantage health maintenance organization, preferred provider organization, private fee-for-service and dual-eligible special needs health plans, prescription drug plans and Medicare supplement polices for regional Medicare-eligible members.
3. Ms. Field joined Humana in 2011 as director of operations for senior products in Washington and Oregon.
4. She has more than 25 years of healthcare experience and earned her bachelor's degree in business from the University of Washington's Michael G. Foster School of Business in Seattle.
