2. Centene expects high 2015 revenue
The St. Louis-based health insurer Centene anticipates its 2015 revenue will be near the top of its guidance, according to The Wall Street Journal.

3. Anthem Q4 profit tumbles 64%
Anthem saw its operating revenue rise in the fourth quarter of 2015, but the Indianapolis-based health insurer experienced a decrease in its individual business, causing its net income to dip 64 percent year over year to $180.9 million.

4. Fidelity Investments to launch a private health insurance exchange
Financial services company Fidelity Investments is introducing a private online health exchange for businesses to shop for health insurance and other employee benefits, reports Bloomberg.

5. BCBS NC says it's 'making progress' in enrollment crisis
Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina said it reinstated insurance policies for thousands of customers who experienced a disruption in coverage due to a technology glitch earlier this month. However, the state's largest health insurer is not disclosing how many enrollees are still without proper coverage or refunds, and officials cannot predict when the crisis will be resolved, reports The Charlotte Observer.

6. Alexian Brothers is 'in the dark' about its Land of Lincoln network status
After Chicago-based Land of Lincoln Health removed the University of Chicago Medical Center from its network last week, other health systems in the area are having contract trouble with the health insurance co-op, according to the Chicago Tribune.

7. Cigna partners with NYC boutique to encourage health and wellness
Insurance giant Cigna teamed up with New York City-based Story — a Manhattan boutique — to promote healthy living, according to the Journal Inquirer.

8. California's biggest health plans could owe $10B in back taxes: 10 things to know
California's four largest health plans — Kaiser Permanente, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield of California and Health Net — may owe up to $10 billion in back taxes pending the outcome of a historic court case, reports San Jose Mercury News.

9. BCBS of Arizona launches new member tools
Through its new "Blue Works for You" campaign, Phoenix-based Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona launched a set of new online member tools for all BCBSAZ members.

10. Aetna, Boston Children's Hospital plan to end contract
Hartford, Conn.-based Aetna and Boston Children's Hospital will end their contract Feb. 15 unless they can settle their dispute regarding payment rates, according to The Boston Globe.

11.Center for American Progress: Aetna-Humana deal will drive up costs for seniors
In a new report, the Center for American Progress predicts the proposed deal between two insurance giants — Aetna and Humana — could increase premium prices for seniors on Medicare Advantage, according to Reuters.

12. Average ACA premium price increases to $408 per month
For plans under the Affordable Care Act this year, the average premium cost increased to $408 per month — a 9 percent increase since this time last year, according to The Hill.

13. Department of Financial Services fines HealthNow NY $750k
The New York Department of Financial Services charged HealthNow NY — the parent company of Buffalo-based BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York — $750,000 in fines, according to Buffalo Business First.
