BCBSA recognized for providing multicultural business opportunities

DiversityBusiness.com named the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association one of “America’s Top 50 Organizations for Multicultural Business Opportunities” for 2016.

The 16th annual list, known as the Div50, identifies organizations that provide the best opportunities and the most business for companies owned by women and minorities. To determine the winners, approximately 1.5 million business owners participated in an online survey about the topic of diversity in the workplace.

BCBSA ranked 27th on this year’s list.

Other healthcare organizations on the list include Walgreens, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Cardinal Health and CVS Health.
