CHI Health, BCBS of Nebraska sign 3-year contract

CHI Health and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska, both based in Omaha, Neb., struck a three-year agreement on reimbursement rates.

Under the agreement, CHI Health and BCBSN will create a two-tier provider network for employer groups with 151 or more employees, called Blueprint Health. The network is effective Jan. 1 in Omaha, Lincoln, Grand Island and Kearney areas.

The two-tier network will include all CHI Health facilities, affiliated physicians and healthcare professionals. The collaboration focuses on fee-for-service and value-based care initiatives.
