Minneapolis-based Bright HealthCare is entering Texas as it offers new plans in three cities.
The insurer is offering plans both on and off the marketplace in Houston, Dallas and Austin for individuals and families, according to an Oct. 6 news release.

"About 20 percent of Texans under 65 lack health insurance coverage, the highest uninsured rate among states, and the COVID-19 pandemic only exacerbated these challenges.
