While the extent of BCBS’s participation in the exchange is undecided, Colleen Miller, a spokeswoman for the insurer, confirmed that rates will be submitted, according to the report.
“We’re working with regulators at the state and federal level to achieve a stable and sustainable market,” Ms. Miller said in an email to the Chicago Tribune.
Changes related to the ACA could mean steep premium increases for individuals purchasing plans on the exchanges this year.
