The payer signed an agreement with Atlanta-based real estate company Portman Holdings to develop a roughly 352,000-square-foot complex for the hub. The office building will house approximately 3,000 IT professionals.

Construction is slated to begin in January 2018 and reach completion in 2020.

Anthem already has an “Innovation Studio” near Technology Square.
