In a move to invest in multiple technology hubs nationwide, Anthem’s IT centers may resemble Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente’s IT center model. Kaiser has a $20 million IT center in Atlanta and four more across the U.S. that service EHR systems, cybersecurity and consumer technologies, among other things.
Anthem’s space in Atlanta’s tallest skyscraper would allocate 40,000 square feet and three floors toward IT operations.
