Peninsula Radiation Oncology Center Opens in Alaska

Peninsula Radiation Oncology Center run by Soldatna, Alaska-based Central Peninsula General Hospital opened for the first time last Wednesday afternoon to residents in Kenai, Alaska, according to a report from the Peninsula Clarion.

 The center offers state-of-the-art technology and an advanced radiation center and increases patient access to cancer care in the region.

The 7,000-square-foot center cost $10 million and will treat approximately 200 patients annually.
