Williamson Medical Center Begins $65M Pediatric Expansion

Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tenn., began work on its $65 million expansion project, which includes expanded women’s services and surgery sites in addition to a new children’s hospital and emergency department.

The new hospital will be called Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital Vanderbilt at Williamson Medical Center, identifying a partnership with Vanderbilt to provide pediatric inpatient care.

Construction is expected to be completed by January 2015.
