This month, Health Choice, a clinical joint venture between Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare and MetroCare Physicians, selected Chicago-based Valence Health to design a clinically integrated network.
Health Choice is a JV between Memphis-based MetroCare and Methodist Le Bonheur that was formed in 1985 and recognized as a true JV in 1997. Health Choice contracts for and services more than 1,700 physicians, as well as Methodist Le Bonheuur.
In the JV, Valence will design, develop and optimize a clinically integrated network to improve the clinical care and financial performance of the providers and physician-hospital organization. Valence will use its technology solutions to combine data from Health Choice members' practice management and hospital information systems with other data sources, such as lab and prescription, to provide a more comprehensive clinical view of care.
