Medical Center of Trinity will include 236 beds, eight delivery rooms, a pediatric emergency room in addition to 30 emergency room beds, eight general surgery rooms and more. The facility was designed to replace the current facility in New Port Richey, Fla. The older facility will continue its behavioral health operations and emergency services, while all other services will be transferred to Medical Center of Trinity.
Medical Center of Trinity was previously expected to open by Thanksgiving. However, the facility was still undergoing state inspection in the beginning of November.
