Most recently, Mr. Petty served as system vice president and CIO at Kingsport, Tenn.-based Wellmont Health System.
He also worked for Marriott international, American Medical Laboratories, PriceWaterhouseCoopers and HHS.
Mr. Petty also served in the active and reserve components of the U.S. Navy, still serving as a naval intelligence officer and is qualified as an information dominance warfare officer.
