Jayson Harrison and Samantha Bevens were taken to jail for shoplifting Tuesday and gave police a unique excuse for why they did it, according to a KRMG news radio report. At a Broken Arrow Walmart the duo filled a shopping cart with $600 of goods and tried to push it right out of the store, according to the report. Then, they blamed their physician for the crime.
“They both had stated their doctor, as they put it, had told them to overcome their issues over the urge to steal, by filling up a shopping cart, pushing it to the front of the store, and just walking away,” police said, according to KRMG.
No physician was named in the police report, according to KRMG.
