Impatient patient who stole ambulance sentenced to 30 months in prison

A patient at Wilkes-Barre, Pa.-based Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital who stole an ambulance and drove it home will instead be heading to prison, according to Penn Live.

David Karosus, who plead guilty to charges of theft and driving with a suspended license, was sentenced to 15 to 30 months in prison by a Luzerne County judge.

Mr. Karosus allegedly told police he was tired of the caretakers in the hospital and hopped into an ambulance that was left running outside the emergency room on Nov. 1.

Police used the GPS navigational system in the ambulance to find Mr. Karosus, according to the article.
