Virtual women's midlife health company raises $14M

Midi Health, a virtual care company specializing in treating women experiencing midlife hormonal changes, raised $14 million in seed investment.

Midi oversees a network of clinicians specializing in women's health and offers 24/7 telehealth visits and messaging support. Its services are covered by major insurance providers, according to an Oct. 27 Midi news release provided to Becker's.

The company will use the capital to launch nationwide operations and form partnerships with health systems. The seed investment was led by Felicis and SemperVirens.

"There's a huge unmet need in our healthcare system for women at this stage in life. Many practitioners lack the training to manage menopausal symptoms and specialists have nine to 12-month waiting lists," Midi co-founder and CEO Joanna Strober said. "We provide access to the most skilled professionals in female health."
