InstaDeep has previously collaborated with Google and BioNTech.

In 2020, BioNTech and InstaDeep formed a collaboration to use AI to develop new therapies, part of which included an early warning variant detection system for COVID-19, which has predicted more than 90 percent of variants around two months ahead of detection. It also has published joint research with Google’s DeepMind and Google Research.
