Springfield, Mo.-based CoxHealth hosted a hiring event Tuesday seeking to fill more than 200 positions.
Kaitlyn McConnell, a spokesperson for the five-hospital health system, told Becker's no employment offers were extended during the event, but more than 330 people attended and could apply for positions.
She added, "This was an especially noteworthy event for us, since it's the first fair we've hosted since raising the minimum wage at CoxHealth to $9.50 an hour."
Open positions at CoxHealth include registration specialists, environmental services technicians, transporters, medical secretaries, unit assistants, nurses, office assistants, financial advisors and customer service representatives.
