1. The nurses voted to reject the contract offer Thursday.
2. In making their decision, the nurses said the contract offer did not “meet their needs, particularly around patient care issues and their own healthcare options,” the union said, according to The Jersey Journal.
3. Now that the contract offer has been rejected, CarePoint Health spokesman Jarrod Bernstein said the hospital “look[s] forward to continuing to negotiate and find a resolution that everyone is happy with,” according to the report.
