Unidine is bringing in its own director and chef. The rest of the hospital’s food service staff, consisting of 35 full-time equivalent employees, will be transferred to Unidine employment, according to the report.

Between the cost savings and an expected increase in sales from improved quality of food, the hospital expects to save roughly $300,000 in food and beverage costs.
