West Branch Regional to Outsource Laundry Services

West Branch (Mich.) Regional Medical Center plans to outsource its laundry services, a move that will affect 10 employees, according to an Ogemaw Herald report.

Some of the affected employees will be able to take other positions inside WBRMC. "We have several options to offer employees and I am very hopeful that any employee that wants to remain employed can do so," said Chuck Morris, WBRMC's environmental services director, according to the report.

The linen services will be outsourced to Community Hospital Services, based in Saginaw, Mich. The hospital will save an estimated $150,000 per year from outsourcing the services, according to the Ogemaw Herald.
