Morgantown, W.Va.-based WVU Medicine is forming a new affiliation agreement with Spencer, W.Va.-based Roane General Hospital.
The affiliation will look to expand pediatrics, urology and endocrinology services at Roane General. The agreement does not change the ownership or governance of either institution, according to an April 25 WVU Medicine news release.
The partnership is effective May 1.
