“In 2012 when Quincy Medical Group affiliated with UnityPoint Health, it was clear that UnityPoint Health was leading the way for local physician-led healthcare,” said Carol Brockmiller, CEO of Quincy Medical Group. “We are pleased to join this trifecta as it provides a great synergy between Illinois and Iowa healthcare services. QMG and MH have been working together for some time to serve patients in the region and we are looking forward to developing an even more productive relationship. The three organizations have the shared vision of high quality, affordable healthcare at a local level.”
Memorial Hospital CEO Ada Bair said of the affiliation: “The Memorial Hospital board and administrative team have been evaluating the long-term needs of our organization for several years as we strive to position ourselves to ensure the sustainability of healthcare in this region. A closer working relationship with UnityPoint Health and Quincy Medical Group will allow us to expand and strengthen the services we provide.”
