SSM Health Care Acquires, Renames Unity Health Center in Oklahoma

St. Louis-based SSM Health Care has announced an agreement to acquire Unity Health Center in Shawnee, Okla., effective June 30.

As part of the transaction, Unity Health Center will be renamed St. Anthony Shawnee Hospital. After the agreement is finalized, SSM will own three hospitals in Oklahoma: St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City; Bone and Joint Hospital at St. Anthony in Oklahoma City; and St. Anthony Shawnee Hospital.
