The agreement does not represent a merger or acquisition but would commit both organizations to jointly develop operational, clinical and programmatic services, strengthening the collaboration between Sparrow Health and the Michigan hospital.
Representatives of both organizations have signed a memorandum of understanding. A formal affiliation will be finalized this spring.
