The health system paid approximately $29.39 million for 214-bed Lancaster (Pa.) Regional Medical Center and roughly $36.64 million for 148-bed Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center in Lititz, Pa., according to deeds for both properties obtained by Lancaster Online.
A spokesperson for PinnacleHealth told the publication in an email July 17 the amounts “represent an allocation for real estate and the buildings.”
PinnacleHealth also completed the acquisition of two other CHS hospitals June 30: 100-bed Memorial Hospital of York (Pa.) and 165-bed Carlisle (Pa.) Regional Medical Center.
Neither PinnacleHealth nor CHS disclosed the exact financial details of the four-hospital transaction.
