Orlando Health buys Walgreens building near campus

Orlando (Fla.) Health purchased a 0.5-acre property that includes a Walgreens for $4.1 million, the Orlando Business Journal reported May 31.

Walgreens will continue to lease the ground floor space, and Orlando Health will use the second floor for office space. The pharmacy is directly next to the Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute.

The 23-hospital health system closed on the transaction May 25.
