The hospital, which is entering its 16th month of operation, is changing its name to prevent confusion about the services the hospital provides. President and CEO Kevin Joseph said people would often come to the ER with concerns about where they would be transported if they needed surgery, not realizing they were in a community hospital.

Services now under the UC Health name include West Chester Hospital, University Hospital, UC Surgical Hospital and UC Physicians.
