While Northwell will benefit from WCHN’s brand reputation in western Connecticut and parts of New York, Northwell will provide WCHN with access to its purchasing channels, data analytics, supply chain management knowledge and workforce development opportunities through its Center for Learning and Innovation.
WHCN’s ultimate goal is to improve its clinical and operational efficiencies.

The organizations’ similar cultures were a deciding factor in forming the partnership, according to Northwell President and CEO Michael Dowling.
