The former Union Hospital will now operate as part of MeritCare and will be called MeritCare Mayville Union Hospital and Clinic.
As part of the merger, MeritCare will build a new clinic on the Union Hospital campus, according to the report.
MeritCare merged with Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Sanford Health in the fall, creating Sanford Health & MeritCare, according to the report.
