Merit Health Systems Finalizes Sale of Nix Health

Louisville, Ky.-based Merit Health Systems, has finalized the sale of its Nix Health Care System, based in San Antonio, to Prospect Medical Holdings in Los Angeles, according to a Merit news release.

The systems announced the deal earlier this year.

Merit also announced plans to sell its Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, N.J., to a joint venture between LHP Hospital Group and Hackensack (N.J.) University Medical Center.
