The scheduled hearing is a mandatory part of the closure process. During the meeting, hospital officials will meet with DOH representatives to discuss the impact of the closure on employees, patients and other affected parties.

The 220-bed acute care hospital revealed plans to close in November. Officials said they expect to complete the closure by March, according to the report.

The closure will affect an estimated 300 employees, including 80 nurses who reportedly signed a new contract with the hospital last March, the report states.
