Lakeside Women’s Hospital became part of Integris, which is the largest health system in Oklahoma, effective Jan. 1. The hospital’s physician practice will remain independent, and patients’ insurance and hospital processes will not change.

Deborah Huff, MD, founding partner of Lakeside Women’s Hospital, said the move will provide “patients with benefits and services not previously offered at Lakeside,” including cardiology, oncology and orthopedics, according to the release.

Integris operates more than a dozen acute-care hospitals throughout Oklahoma. In April, Integris finalized a five-hospital joint venture with Naples, Fla.-based Health Management Associates.
