The deal would merge the county hospital’s assets with Clarian. Under the proposed plan, Clarian would pay White County $955,000 for the hospital’s land.

White County has nearly $30 million in debt and is seeking a partnership to transfer that burden away from the county government, according to the report.

Clarian’s board of directors could approve the merger as early as next week.
