Healthcare Trust of America closes on $150M portfolio for medical office buildings in Arizona, California

The Healthcare Trust of America, which owns and operates a number of medical office buildings across the U.S., closed on a $150 million agreement to purchase a medical office building portfolio.

The portfolio consists of 11 medical office buildings located primarily on San Francisco-based Dignity Health’s Arizona and southern California campuses.

News of the deal came just after the company declared its intent to acquire 78 properties from Duke Realty for approximately $2.7 billion May 1.
