The two are joining forces to improve access to care in Grays Harbor County and the surrounding region, according to the report. MultiCare also operates a number of other Washington hospitals including Auburn Regional Medical Center in Auburn, Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup and Tacoma General Hospital and Allenmore Hospital in Tacoma.
Earlier this year, Franciscan Health System — also based in Tacoma — announced plans to expand into Auburn, Wash., opening a primary- and specialty-care facility in the community to compete with MultiCare.
