Florida’s Memorial Healthcare System joins precision medicine network

Irving, Texas-based Caris Life Sciences officials announced that Hollywood, Fla.-based Memorial Healthcare System will join the Caris Centers for Excellence for Precision Medicine Network.

As a member, Memorial Healthcare will actively help develop standards of care for integrating molecular profiling in oncology while attempting to increase patient access to personalized medicine in clinical settings.

The hospital system will also have access to Caris’ multiple technology profiling system to help physicians identify therapy options and clinical trial opportunities based on the unique characteristics of a patient’s tumor, according to Caris officials.
