Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Fla., may look for a partner to deal with financial struggles, according to a Tampa Bay Times report.

Hospital officials have not announced a specific partner search but have expressed interest in strategic partnerships. According to the report, the medical center’s 2010 and 2011 financial statements showed operating margins at less than 1 percent, which could push it to consider a partner.
